S&#8217;han d&#8217;evitar superf\u00edcies fosques que s&#8217;escalfin i emmagatzemin calor i, en el seu lloc, s&#8217;han d&#8217;utilitzar superf\u00edcies clares. Segons la norma ASTM E 1980-11, els materials de recobriment opacs, que es col\u00b7loquen en sentit horitzontal o amb una lleugera inclinaci\u00f3, es caracteritzen per l&#8217;anomenat <strong>\u00cdndex de reflect\u00e0ncia solar (SRI)<\/strong>. Aquest \u00edndex es calcula a partir de la reflect\u00e0ncia solar (RS) i el grau d&#8217;emissivitat t\u00e8rmica (\u03b5) i constitueix una mesura de l&#8217;escalfament relatiu dels materials tenint en compte la radiaci\u00f3 solar absorbida i la calor irradiada al cel. Per tant, per con\u00e8ixer l&#8217;<strong>(SRI)<\/strong> d&#8217;un material determinat, necessitem obtenir mitjan\u00e7ant assajos dos valors previs del material: la seva reflect\u00e0ncia solar i la seva emissivitat t\u00e8rmica.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2,0,0\">REFLECT\u00c0NCIA SOLAR (SR): La relaci\u00f3 entre el flux solar reflexat i el flux solar incident, es mesura d&#8217;acord amb ASTM E 903, ASTM E 1918, o ASTM C 1549.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2,1,0\">EMISSIVITAT T\u00c8RMICA (\u03b5): Concepte que mesura l&#8217;efectivitat en l&#8217;emissi\u00f3 d&#8217;energia com a radiaci\u00f3 t\u00e8rmica, varia entre 0,00 i 1,00. Es mesura segons l&#8217;ASTM E 408 o ASTM C 1371.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2331\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2331\" style=\"width: 626px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2331\" title=\"Proceso de ensayo para determinaci\u00f3n de SRI\" src=\"https:\/\/breinco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/tecnalia.jpg\" alt=\"Persona haciendo el ensayo para la determinaci\u00f3n de SRI de diversos materiales\" width=\"626\" height=\"353\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2331\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Proc\u00e9s d&#8217;assaig per a la determinaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;SRI<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Qu\u00e8 \u00e9s l&#8217;illa de calor?<\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4\">L&#8217;illa de calor urbana \u00e9s un fenomen que es produeix a les \u00e0rees urbanes i suburbanes com a conseq\u00fc\u00e8ncia de l&#8217;\u00fas de materials amb una alta capacitat d&#8217;absorci\u00f3 i retenci\u00f3 de la calor solar (albedo), molt superiors a les dels materials naturals o de les \u00e0rees rurals menys desenvolupades (Gartland, 2008). Les altes temperatures urbanes augmenten els consums d&#8217;energia, incrementant la demanda el\u00e8ctrica i els problemes de pol\u00b7luci\u00f3; a m\u00e9s, els seus resultats augmenten la petjada ecol\u00f2gica, disminueixen el confort t\u00e8rmic i creen problemes de salut als seus habitants. De cara a reduir la demanda d&#8217;energia de refrigeraci\u00f3 dels edificis i limitar l&#8217;efecte d&#8217;illa de calor de les ciutats, en el marc de les normes americanes, es van comen\u00e7ar a incloure com a criteris de disseny les propietats \u00f2ptiques dels materials de construcci\u00f3. Els nous projectes o renovacions urbanes han de considerar totes les variables de sostenibilitat en el seu disseny. Una de les certificacions d&#8217;Edificis Sostenibles \u00e9s la realitzada per l&#8217;U.S. GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL i s&#8217;anomena LEED v4.1. Es tracta d&#8217;un dels sistemes de classificaci\u00f3 d&#8217;edificis ecol\u00f2gics m\u00e9s utilitzat al m\u00f3n. Aquesta certificaci\u00f3 proporciona un marc per a construccions sostenibles saludables, altament eficients i de baix cost. LEED defineix un sistema de puntuaci\u00f3 dels criteris ambientals i sostenibles del projecte; en concret, aborda el concepte d&#8217;illa de calor en els apartats que analitzen la sostenibilitat del projecte (Cr\u00e8dit SS &#8211; Sustainable Sites), definint el seg\u00fcent prop\u00f2sit:<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5\"><em><strong>Minimitzar els efectes als microclimes i als h\u00e0bitats de vida humana i silvestre mitjan\u00e7ant la reducci\u00f3 de les illes de calor.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"6\">\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2327\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2327\" style=\"width: 639px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-2327\" title=\"Gr\u00e1fica de temperatura de la Isla de Calor Urbana\" src=\"https:\/\/breinco.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/isla-de-calor.jpg\" alt=\"Isla de calor creada debido a la urbanizaci\u00f3n del territorio\" width=\"639\" height=\"451\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2327\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Illa de calor urbana<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Per aix\u00f2, es designen una s\u00e8rie de mesures a considerar en el projecte. D&#8217;aquestes mesures, extraurem a continuaci\u00f3 les que incideixen en l&#8217;elecci\u00f3 crom\u00e0tica dels paviments:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Utilitzar materials de pavimentaci\u00f3 amb un valor inicial de reflect\u00e0ncia solar (SR) d&#8217;almenys 0,33.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>En la descripci\u00f3 del proc\u00e9s de classificaci\u00f3, es descriu que es pot utilitzar alternativament el valor d&#8217;SRI (\u00cdndex de Reflect\u00e0ncia Solar) i SR (Reflect\u00e0ncia Solar) per als c\u00e0lculs de puntuaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<h2><\/h2>\n<h2>Quins valors d&#8217;SRI i d&#8217;SR s&#8217;obtenen en els assajos de materials de BREINCO?<\/h2>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"7\">A Breinco hem assajat alguns dels nostres materials per a paviments als laboratoris de TECNALIA i APPLUS; en concret, els materials de color White Est\u00e0ndard, Listomat Snow White i Listomat Terra Beige. Els valors obtinguts compleixen els requisits de LEED.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>COLOR WHITE \u00a0BREINCO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Reflect\u00e0ncia solar (SR) = 0,42<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Emissivitat t\u00e8rmica= 0,97<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>(SRI) <\/strong>(\u00cdndex de Reflect\u00e0ncia Solar) = <strong>51,6<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"9\">L&#8217;SR nom\u00e9s tracta de la reflect\u00e0ncia solar sense aprofundir m\u00e9s en el comportament termodin\u00e0mic del material. En aquest cas, <strong>58 s&#8217;absorbeix i 42 es reflexa<\/strong>. L&#8217;SRI canvia el valor perqu\u00e8 tamb\u00e9 t\u00e9 en capacitat d&#8217;emetre calor i es compta tamb\u00e9 l&#8217;emissivitat del material, que no nom\u00e9s dep\u00e8n de la calor. Aquesta difer\u00e8ncia es fa en funci\u00f3 de l&#8217;element arquitect\u00f2nic que estem considerant:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"10,0,0\">En cas d&#8217;una coberta d&#8217;un edifici on per sota hi ha \u00fas, interessa considerar l&#8217;SRI perqu\u00e8 no nom\u00e9s \u00e9s important que la radiaci\u00f3 reboti, sin\u00f3 que tamb\u00e9 interessa que els espais de sota no s&#8217;sobreescalfin.
