Integration, materiality, and architecture in service of the landscape

The new headquarters of the Real Golf Club el Prat is set on a gentle hillside surrounded by pine trees, featuring a design that prioritizes landscape integration, horizontality, and architectural discretion. The main building adapts to the terrain with two levels: the lower floor is partially embedded to minimize visual impact and open up all views to the natural surroundings.

Access is through the upper level, where a lobby organizes the social areas and administrative spaces. An open staircase connects to the lower level, which houses members’ locker rooms alongside technical areas, a gym, and parking for electric vehicles and golf equipment.

The ancillary buildings—visitor locker rooms, summer bar, and children’s area—are anchored by a large wall and adopt a stepped configuration that follows the terrain, serving as a transition to the outdoor pool and play area.

Ferrater Brick: horizontality, elegance, and continuity

Ferrater Brick is key to the project’s identity. This element emphasizes the horizontality of the façades through its elongated proportions and geometry, creating a visual effect of continuous lines that conveys calm and serenity.

Aesthetic and functional versatility: it can be applied to façades, interiors, and pavements, and is available in a wide range of colors and textures, allowing seamless integration with the Mediterranean vegetation and the overall project. In addition, its construction performance ensures durability, waterproofing, fire resistance, acoustic insulation, low maintenance, and energy efficiency, guaranteeing that its aesthetic quality remains intact over time.

With Ferrater Brick, the Reial Club de Golf El Prat achieves a serene, contemporary architecture fully connected to the landscape, where every material and detail enhances the user experience and strengthens the relationship with the surroundings.
