EDEM School of Entrepreneurs is located in the Marina of Valencia as part of the Marina de Empresas entrepreneurial ecosystem, a strategic site on the Mediterranean conceived to promote innovation, talent, and business culture. Since its founding, EDEM has established itself as a leading center for the training of entrepreneurs, executives, and business leaders, combining a rigorous academic approach with close ties to the professional and business world.
The architecture of the building responds to these values, opting for open, functional, and contemporary spaces that foster collaborative work, the exchange of ideas, and the connection with the maritime environment. The outdoor paths, access areas, and seating spaces integrate naturally into the Marina complex, reinforcing the relationship between the building, the public space, and the coastal landscape.
To define the outdoor spaces, Llosa Vulcano® has been incorporated, selected for its durability, hardness, and color stability, providing a comfortable and robust surface suitable for the daily intensive use typical of a university campus. This paving helps organize circulation paths and creates a sober, contemporary image, in harmony with the building’s architecture.
The intervention is completed with architectural concrete Wetcast® panels, custom-designed and manufactured, which provide identity, texture, and construction quality to the complex. These elements reinforce the institutional character of the building and engage in a dialogue with the architectural language of the surroundings, combining technical precision and aesthetic value. Additionally, urban furniture pieces such as Lift have been incorporated, which functionally complement the outdoor spaces and enhance the user experience.
The result is a modern, solid, and well-integrated educational environment, where materials and solutions accompany the center’s daily activity and reinforce its role as a benchmark for business training, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the city of Valencia.
