The intervention on the accessible terrace of the Pompeu Fabra University is a space designed for enjoyment, social interaction, and the contemplation of the urban environment from above.
The project focuses on creating a functional and elegant terrace, where user circulation and comfort are combined with a meticulous design that integrates the space with views of the city. The intervention maximizes the terrace’s potential, transforming it into a meeting point and a place for contemplation within the campus.
For the paving, Llosa Vulcano® in color ceniza has been used throughout the entire surface of the terrace. This slab provides visual continuity, resistance, and durability, along with a neutral and sophisticated tonality that integrates harmoniously with the architectural surroundings. Its color stability over time and its hardness make Llosa Vulcano® the ideal solution for accessible outdoor spaces, guaranteeing a safe, functional, and aesthetically refined pavement.
