Future cities
The proposal by Palau Robert through its exhibition “Somia la ciutat” brings together different ideas that gained strength after the pandemic. The exhibition reflects on the need to create green, inclusive and digitalised spaces. It is open to visitors until 11 June 2023.
Ecology: green cities

Increasing green areas in cities is a central goal. The aim is to achieve urban environments with greater biodiversity, spaces that encourage people’s connection with nature and deliver environmental and social benefits.
The exhibition presents different solutions supporting a shared vision of sustainable cities. Among them is Kodolé®, one of Breinco’s permeable paving systems.
Digitalisation: smart cities

The exhibition highlights digitalisation as a major driver of urban development.
New technologies are here to stay, and their proper integration is essential. “Somia la ciutat” embraces digitalisation as a tool to be leveraged for better cities.

The Breincosmartplay interactive paving technology is part of the exhibition, presented as an innovative flooring solution that integrates augmented reality and creates playful interactive environments for children.
Identity: inclusive cities
Cities with social systems that embrace individual diversity as a positive value, aiming to eliminate inequalities related to gender, culture, or economic background.

A new form of urbanism that designs cities as spaces for coexistence, valuing diversity; where education, play, culture and creativity regain a central role; and where everyone can find spaces for expression and leisure.
Breinco proposes solutions for future cities
Breinco is recognised for developing solutions aimed at improving quality of life in cities and has therefore been selected as a key participant in this exhibition. Its involvement in real sustainable and innovative urban projects positions Breinco as a benchmark in 21st-century city design.
Kodolé®: a sustainable design pavement

KODOLÉ® is a mixed permeable paving system. Its design allows variable configurations that encourage vegetation growth and water drainage. It was developed in collaboration between the architecture studio Espinàs i Tarrasó and Breinco.
Breincosmartplay interactive pavements: combining augmented reality with traditional games

Breincosmartplay is a joint initiative by Urban Enjoy and Breinco, bringing augmented reality technology into public spaces.
