The waterfront promenade in Malgrat de Mar has been renovated with a focus on functionality, sustainability, and an attractive aesthetic, improving pedestrian areas and access points for occasional light vehicular traffic.
In this project, Rasen-Mohr® with Llosa Vulcano® pavers has been incorporated, filling the joints with grass to generate a pavement that combines green areas and pedestrian traffic. The biodegradable wooden spacers allow for the creation of joints that hold the topsoil and grass, ensuring that the roots take hold correctly and turning the surface into a resilient area capable of withstanding light traffic without losing its aesthetics.
The result is a comfortable and safe waterfront promenade where grass, pavers, and Llosa Vulcano® coexist in harmony, reinforcing the urban identity and the connection with Malgrat de Mar’s coastline.
