Located on a private property in Pedralbes, one of Barcelona’s most exclusive neighborhoods, this intervention transforms a steeply sloping plot into an orderly sequence of landscaped terraces. The project reorganizes the terrain using Allan Block retaining walls, which structure the space and create stable platforms for planting and living areas.
The Ab lite stones solution converts the original slope into a set of stepped planters that provide rhythm, balance, and a clear understanding of the landscape. Each level integrates visually with the next, creating a natural transition between architecture and the garden, while facilitating maintenance and optimizing land use.
The reinforced soil system provides stability, flexibility, and durability, adapting to the terrain’s characteristics and the structural requirements of the project. Thanks to its modularity, the walls not only resolve the technical challenges of the slope but also deliver a solid and contemporary aesthetic that integrates elegantly into the residential environment.
The result is a structured, functional, and harmonious garden where engineering and landscaping combine to transform the topography into a main feature of the design.
