The polymeric sands DR PLUS and CITY PRO, are specially formulated sands for grouting slabs and pavers which, unlike normal sands, are ‘activated’ with water and consolidate inside the joints.

DR PLUS for light traffic
Polymeric sand formulated for pedestrian or light vehicular traffic (from 0 to 10 vehicles over 3.500kg per day) and at reduced speed (max. 30 Km/hour), in pavements with joints between 2mm to 20mm wide, and minimum 3,5cm thick in slabs or 5cm thick in pavers.
Grouting
CITY PRO for heavy traffic
Polymeric sand formulated for heavy traffic (from 11 to 300 vehicles of more than 3.500kg per day) and reduced speed (max. 30 Km/hour), on pavements with joints between 4mm to 20mm wide, and minimum 8cm thick.
General properties DR PLUS and CITY PRO
- Dry-applied, water-activated and hardened after drying.
- They are easy, quick and clean to install.
- Resist erosion caused by water, frost, wind and regular street cleaning.
- They prevent the growth of weeds, the invasion of insects and prevent the appearance of efflorescence.
- They are suitable both for grouting new pavements and for replacing joints in existing pavements grouted with sand.
- Once consolidated, they remain flexible over time and adapt to the deformations of the pavement.
They are resistant to unexpected rain 90 minutes after the grout has been ‘activated’ with water.
