{"id":9617,"date":"2025-07-03T18:16:56","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T16:16:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev.breinco.com\/ethics-channel\/"},"modified":"2026-04-01T10:51:09","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T08:51:09","slug":"ethics-channel","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/breinco.com\/en\/ethics-channel\/","title":{"rendered":"Ethics channel"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>At <strong>INDUSTRIAL BREINCO, S.A. <\/strong>we firmly believe in the importance of fostering a safe, ethical, inclusive, and trustworthy environment for all our employees, clients, and partners.<\/p>\n\n<p>For this reason, we have implemented a robust <strong>Ethics channel<\/strong>\u2014 a channel where any potential non-compliance or irregularity within the organization can be reported, as established by<strong>Law 2\/2023<\/strong>, of February 20, regulating the protection of persons reporting regulatory violations and combating corruption.<\/p>\n\n<p>WHAT INCIDENTS CAN BE REPORTED?<\/p>\n\n<p>You can report through the Ethics Channel any incidents you consider may constitute a breach of legal regulations, the Code of Ethics, or any internal policies in force, such as:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct related to fraud and corruption.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct related to workplace safety, health, and higiene.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discrimination and harassment in the workplace.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct relating to information security, data protection and securities markets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anti-competitive practices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct contrary to human rights or causing environmental harm.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other potential criminal or administrative offences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>KEY FEATURES:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Confidentiality:<\/strong>\u00a0We understand that confidentiality is essential to encourage individuals to report concerns. We guarantee absolute confidentiality throughout the process and protect the identity of the reporting person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Anonymous reporting is also available.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Impartial investigation process:<\/strong>\u00a0Once a report is submitted, our team of experts will thoroughly investigate the matter objectively and diligently, in accordance with internal regulations and applicable law. The rights of all parties involved, including the presumption of innocence, will be respected throughout the process.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Protection against retaliation:<\/strong>We do not tolerate any form of retaliation against individuals who report concerns in good faith. We are committed to safeguarding the rights and integrity of those who come forward to report irregularities. Appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken against anyone who retaliates against a whistleblower.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Resolution and follow-up:<\/strong>\u00a0Once the investigation is complete, we will take the necessary actions to address the identified issue and, where possible, implement corrective measures to prevent future violations. You can attach images or supporting documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify yourself or select the anonymous option.
