Depending on the required efficiency, we will choose the factor that offers more or less protection: factor 1, 7, or 10. The higher the chosen factor, the lower the possibility of dirt and water entering the pavement and contaminating it. The NET-CLEAN® surface protector does not contain solvents and is, therefore, environmentally friendly.
Net-Clean® factor 1
Basic surface protector that facilitates the cleaning of dirt in general. The surface is less sensitive to getting dirty. It is a water-based liquid product, free of solvents, composed of organic fluoropolymers. Indicated for the surface protection of semi-dry concrete pavements, thanks to the high anti-stick and hydrophobic power it confers to the treated pieces. It forms a surface film repellent to water, oils, and organic compounds in general, which drastically reduces the adhesion of dirt and the appearance of stains on the treated pieces, facilitating their cleaning and, consequently, maintaining their aesthetic value for a longer time. We must keep in mind that the Factor 1 protection decreases over time due to the reduction of the treatment’s efficiency.
Net-Clean® factor 7
Surface protector that forms a film to facilitate the cleaning of dirt in general. It is an impregnation that, applied to the surface of the piece, surrounds the concrete structure, reducing the adhesion of dirt and the appearance of stains. The concrete pores are largely closed, which is good protection against stains. Thanks to its protective film, the speed at which dirt penetrates the concrete structure and consolidates is significantly reduced. In this way, there is more time to clean difficult dirt with water and to clean a stain before it sets.
Net-Clean® factor 10
High-intensity surface protector and sealer that forms two films on the surface to facilitate the cleaning of dirt. It offers optimal surface protection with minimal maintenance, even for the toughest stains. In this coating process, the concrete’s microstructure is first optimized thanks to a water repellent, and subsequently, an extremely durable double coating, enhanced with UV light, is applied. This way, the concrete pores become completely closed. Due to the double coating, the surface texture and color change. We achieve a satin effect with a shine that simulates the “wet” look.
NET-CLEAN Properties
- Improves and preserves the aesthetic finish of treated concrete pieces.
- Minimizes the accumulation of dirt and the appearance of stains of very diverse natures.
- Facilitates cleaning operations.
- Reduces the appearance of efflorescence.
- Prevents the growth of algae, fungi, and lichens on the treated surface.
- Reduces water absorption by capillarity, as well as that of oils, grease, and other organic components.
- Improves the resistance of the pieces against freeze-thaw cycles and increases durability.
- Weather and U.V. ray resistant.
- Water vapor permeable. Solvent-free.
- Non-flammable and presents no handling risks.
- Increases direct tensile strength.
- In general, improves the performance of pieces required by EN 1338, EN 1339, and EN 1340 standards and facilitates compliance with their requirements.
How is NET-CLEAN applied?
NetClean® factor 1 is applied in a single coat. It can be applied via a direct low-pressure spraying system with a flat spray nozzle, or it can also be applied with a short-hair roller or brush. In the case of application on hardened concrete, it is recommended to perform a surface sanding of the substrate to remove the presence of grease and dirt and to obtain a sufficiently firm substrate. It is available in 25 kg containers. To obtain a regular aesthetic finish on the entire piece, it is essential to distribute the product homogeneously over the entire surface, avoiding accumulations in specific areas. Protect treated elements from the direct action of rain and dust for at least 4-6 hours after application (depending on temperature and humidity), until the surface film is completely formed.

Consumption
The recommended consumption of NetClean® factor 1 is 80-150 gr/m2. This consumption is approximate and may vary according to the substrate’s absorption and the application method, so it is recommended to carry out representative preliminary tests to define the optimal consumption.
How to clean products with NET-CLEAN treatment?
It is recommended to clean the facilities and tools used for handling the product with abundant water, preferably hot, just after finishing their use.
Storage, handling, and transport
Store the product in its original, hermetically sealed containers, in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place, at temperatures between +5 and +40 ºC. Protect against freezing. Stored correctly, NetClean® factor 1 is preserved for up to 12 months from its manufacturing date. For the handling of this product, standard preventive measures for handling chemical products must be observed, for example, not eating, smoking, or drinking during work and washing hands before a break and upon finishing work.
KEEP IN MIND
- Do not mix with other products or dilute with water.
- Do not use in areas subjected to high water pressure or subject to intense abrasion.
- Do not apply if rain is forecast, in the case of outdoor applications.
- Do not apply if it is expected that temperatures may drop below +5 ºC during the 12 hours following the application.
- Protect garden areas when applying the product.
- In areas of vehicular or pedestrian traffic, allow to dry completely before opening passage.
