Las DAP son necesarias a la hora de la selección de materiales para un proyecto u obra, porque ayudan a construir edificaciones con una menor huella de carbono, reduciendo de esta manera el impacto ambiental. Los técnicos prescriptores tienen un gran papel que asumir al asegurarse de que sus proyectos generarán los mínimos impactos negativos en el medio ambiente. Breinco pone a disposición de los proyectistas las DAP de sus productos (EPD en inglés) con el fin de promover la economía circular en la construcción.

Differences between an EPD and a self-declared A-EPD
The BREINCO EPD has been developed and verified in accordance with standards UNE-EN ISO 14025:2010, UNE-EN 16757:2017 and UNE-EN 15804:2012+A2:2020.
This EPD certification process consists of 3 steps that clearly distinguish it from an A-EPD or Environmental Self-Declaration (which only includes the first step):
