Certified Quality and Environmental Management
As a result of our efforts in quality management, in March 2019 Breinco S.A. was certified according to the ISO 9001standard, which remains valid today and is subject to annual compliance with all required quality standards.
In the environmental field, and with the aim of reducing the associated impact of our operations, in April 2021 we obtained ISO 14001 certification through the implementation and continuous improvement of an environmental management system.
Quality and environmental management are integrated into our overall management system, serving as the two fundamental pillars for our business operations. This system evaluates and minimizes the environmental impact associated with our activities while ensuring compliance with the required quality standards. We also extend this commitment to all stakeholders, raising awareness especially regarding the rational and efficient management of resources.
Regulations
Guaranteed Quality, Certified Standards
Breinco products are manufactured using high-quality raw materials: CEM 42.5R cement, UV-resistant pigments, and carefully selected aggregates to achieve excellent strength and quality properties.
Breinco ensures the quality of its products in accordance with current regulations: UNE-EN 771-3 for concrete blocks, UNE-EN 1338 for pavers, UNE-EN 1339 for tiles, UNE-EN 1340 for curbs, and ASTM standards for retaining walls.
The CE marking indicates that the products comply with the essential requirements of the applicable harmonized standards and that all necessary measures have been taken to guarantee this compliance.

Certified Zero Waste
Designing to Regenerate
Our vision for the future is translated into concrete actions: we have obtained the Zero Waste Certificate with an excellent rating, awarded by Bureau Veritas. This recognition confirms that we valorize and reuse nearly all the waste generated in our production process.

Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
Breinco provides the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for «Prefabricated Concrete Elements for Tiles, Pavers, and Curbs» and «Concrete Bricks» following an analysis of their life cycle environmental impact. The specific data considered in this Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) study comes from Breinco’s facilities in Llinars del Vallès, Barcelona. The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a highly useful tool that provides transparency regarding the sustainability of a product or service throughout its entire life cycle.
Environmental Quality Assurance Seal
The Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda of the Generalitat of Catalonia has certified LLOSA VULCANO®, PANOT, and RIGOLA with the Environmental Quality Assurance Seal, corresponding to the category of raw materials and recycled aggregate products. This recognition is due to the high percentage of recycled aggregates used in their manufacturing process (up to 40%). Additionally, these products are 100% recyclable.
The Flux Cast® project has received funding from the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, within the Programme for Reindustrialisation and Promotion of Industrial Competitiveness.
