Integrated roof rehabilitation
As part of the modernization of the building at Avenida Meridiana 38, in Barcelona’s 22@ district, Breinco contributed to the comprehensive roof rehabilitation, transforming an underutilized space into a walkable and functional area thanks to our Losa Infinity® system.
The building, with nearly 5,500 m² spread across a parking area, ground floor, and seven upper floors, is currently being marketed for office use. The terrace was conceived as an added value for future tenants. For this, the Losa Infinity® system was used—an industrialized solution for inverted roofs that combines thermal insulation and aesthetic finish in a single element, ensuring comfort, safety, and durability.
Infinity® construction system
Infinity® system consists of a Vulcano® concrete slab, which provides protection against mechanical stress and UV radiation, and a high-performance extruded polystyrene slab that delivers thermal insulation. Its unidirectional grooves ensure efficient rainwater drainage, while the quick, mortar-free installation facilitates maintenance and offers flexibility of use.
Walkable and functional space for office use
With this intervention, the terrace at Meridiana 38 has become a perfect space for meetings, after-work events, or relaxation areas, enhancing the experience of those working in the building and optimizing the use of an area that was previously underutilized.
This project reinforces Breinco’s commitment to innovative, sustainable construction solutions tailored to urban living, bringing functionality and design to every corner of the buildings we work on.
