Located in the heart of Alicante, the Monte Tossal Skatepark has been completely renovated with the aim of improving the user experience and strengthening the integration of the space with its urban environment. The project expands the surface dedicated to skateboarding and reorganizes the park as a whole, incorporating rest areas, green spaces, and accessible paths that fluidly connect the different areas.

The intervention embraces a contemporary, functional, and inclusive design, where the pavement plays a leading role both technically and aesthetically. Breinco contributed to the project by providing a new concrete surface that visually unifies the space and ensures compatibility between pedestrian traffic and sports activities, adapting to the demands of a high-traffic environment.

The project incorporates various solutions developed with Dry Cast® technology, selected for their resistance, precision, and high-quality finish. Among them, Llosa Vulcano® stands out as a piece of high hardness and chromatic stability, ideal for paving high-activity areas. The Adoquín Terana® Six has also been used, featuring a textured finish and soft tones that bring warmth and character to the surroundings, alongside Superstep®, a monolithic concrete step that combines robustness and design, guaranteeing visual and functional continuity between the different levels of the park.

The result is a renewed, dynamic, and accessible urban space, where landscape architecture and Breinco’s smart materials help create a more active, inclusive, and sustainable environment, reinforcing Monte Tossal’s identity as a meeting point and a sports landmark within the city.
