Trece Rosas Park has established itself as the great green space of Marina del Prat Vermell, one of Barcelona’s most significant urban developments. Spanning over 21,000 m², the park integrates meadows, gardens, seating areas, and inclusive play zones, creating an environment that is accessible, sustainable, and designed for all ages. The vegetation, mostly Mediterranean and with low water consumption, coexists with irrigation systems that utilize groundwater or reclaimed water, while natural infiltration spaces allow rainwater to return to the subsoil.
Trece Rosas Park organizes its routes through squares, viewpoints, and terraced gardens connected by ramps and stairs that facilitate mobility, while the meadows and play areas encourage social interaction and leisure. The children’s zone stands out for its innovation, featuring log and net structures that allow access to users with different abilities and platforms up to three levels high, accompanied by swings, hammocks, a sandpit, and sliding areas.
Paving and furniture that blend functionality and aesthetics have been integrated. Llosa Vulcano® has been used in transit and seating areas, providing resistance and comfort for pedestrians, while VS5® reinforces the areas with higher functional demands, unifying the routes and enhancing accessibility. The Circle Puff furniture, with its rounded design, provides safety and defines resting points within the park’s landscape.
The result is an urban space that combines design, comfort, and sustainability, where the paving and furniture reinforce the identity of Trece Rosas Park and its inclusive character, consolidating it as a meeting point and a landmark for the new residents of Marina del Prat Vermell.
