The headquarters ofVega Instrumentos in Sant Cugat del Vallès is conceived as a unique and pioneering building, a benchmark in sustainability and architectural design. It is the first private office building in Spain with a structure entirely made of wood, a milestone that reflects the company’s commitment to the environment, innovation, and people’s well-being.
The project, developed by Batlleiroig, advocates for a warm and efficient architecture, where wood defines both the structure and the interior experience. The building is organized around a large central space flooded with natural light, which integrates an open staircase designed to encourage sustainable mobility and daily use, becoming an intuitive and leading feature of the complex.
In the outdoor areas, Terana® green has been incorporated combined with lawn and gravel zones, creating pedestrian and landscaped areas that integrate naturally with the building’s surroundings. This intervention provides comfort, safety, and sustainability, optimizing water management and generating trafficable green spaces that reinforce the corporate identity of the complex.
The result is an architectural complex that unites innovation, functionality, and respect for the environment, offering employees and visitors a healthy, efficient, and visually harmonious working environment.
