As a benchmark in the urbanism sector, Breinco took part in Municipalia 2023, the international trade fair focused on municipal management, held in Lleida from 17 to 19 October. The company presented three groundbreaking proposals designed to transform public spaces into welcoming, sustainable and modern environments.

Attendees had the opportunity to explore first-hand the advanced solutions Breinco offers for urban planning and sustainable construction. From cutting-edge solutions to innovative technologies.

Public spaces for new generations
In collaboration with Urban Enjoy, Breinco opened a window into the future of cities with the presentation of “Breincosmartplay”. This innovative concept introduces augmented reality interactive games in the streets, creating public spaces where families can enjoy educational and technological entertainment in a fun and immersive way. Breinco’s vision of future cities focuses on making younger generations an integral part of urban spaces.

Urban furniture: comfort and design
In urban planning, comfort and aesthetics are a priority. For this reason, Breinco presented a new generation of urban furniture that combines functionality with design, prioritising the well-being and social life of urban residents.
At this edition of Municipalia, Breinco impressed attendees with its urban furniture proposal that turns public spaces into safe, welcoming and attractive places.
Wing bench
The urban furniture highlighted by Breinco at Municipalia was the WING bench, an urban element created in collaboration with designer Jordi Pla. It is a bench developed with state-of-the-art technology and a design that combines classical style with safety and comfort.
Its photocatalytic treatment eliminates bacteria and germs, promoting hygiene in public spaces. It is also fire-resistant and low maintenance, contributing to safety and sustainability in the urban environment.

Doric Temple stool
In collaboration with VORA Architecture studio, Breinco created Temple, an urban stool inspired by classical architecture, specifically Doric columns. A concept of urban furniture that connects us with classical architecture. It is ideal for creating balanced environments where the modern and the classical meet.

Sustainable paving

One of the most anticipated innovations presented by Breinco at Municipalia was the “21st Century Panot”, a more sustainable version of the iconic Barcelona “Panot”. This innovation is part of a public competition in collaboration with the Barcelona City Council and the BIT Habitat Foundation in 2022, where Breinco stood out for presenting the best proposal to improve the panot.

In addition, Breinco is a leader in the implementation of permeable paving in urban environments, offering a complete range of ECO-SUDS® paving solutions that contribute to water management in cities.
