The heart of Sant Esteve de Palautordera has been transformed to become a more welcoming, accessible, and friendly space for residents and visitors. The Church Square and adjacent streets have gained continuity and clarity in their layout, enhancing social life and daily encounters within the municipality.
For the pavements, Tegula® art has been used, combining three colors —Mediterráneo, Ceniza and Desierto— which prioritize the different zones and provide visual rhythm to the urban space. This chromatic palette creates a harmonious dialogue with the architecture and the surroundings, naturally marking pedestrian pathways and seating areas.
The new pavements allow the center to be organized in a functional and aesthetic manner, respecting the historical essence of the town and facilitating comfortable and safe use for everyone. The transformation reinforces the character of the urban core, turning the center into a meeting point where architecture, landscape, and daily life are integrated in a balanced way.
